I want to use this to develop compiled Python modules on Windows. I have no need for the full Visual Studio package. Is this OK to use for commercial projects, assuming I’m working for a company that would normally have to pay for a Visual Studio license? The license for the standalone build tools mentions nothing about fees or commercial licensing. I can’t link to the relevant documents as my account isn’t verified yet.
The link to the build tools license was in the installer itself rather than on the download website. Our goal with the Build Tools is that if you have a license for VS already that is, you bought Enterprise or Professional for your company, or you are using Community for yourself or your small organization that you can use the Build Tools on your build server or continuous integration server.

My question is more about if I do not have a licence for VS Can I still use the standalone build tools for commerical projects?
